ICCAs Registration Procedure

AKKM REGISTRATION PROCEDURE (ICCAS)

AKKM registration is carried out in 6 (six) stages as follows:

  1. FILLING REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS. The community fills out FORM-A (AKKM Registration Form), FORM-B (AKKM Documentation Form) and FORM-C (Registration Approval Form). The form file can be downloaded on the WGII ​​website, http://iccas.or.id/formulir-pendaftaran/ or send an email to [email protected] to request the form.
  2. DELIVERY OF REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS. The file of the form is sent to the email address [email protected] or send the printed file by courier to the address of one of the WGII ​​Secretariats:

  5. DOCUMENT ACCEPTANCE CONFIRMATION. The WGII ​​Secretariat will send confirmation via email or telephone, that registration documents have been received to applicants.
  6. VERIFICATION. The WGII ​​Registration Working Team verifies the data and information on all forms and attachments to the AKKM map. The results of the verification are submitted to the registrant to be corrected and completed with information that is still lacking. If necessary, AKKM verification can be carried out in the field after an agreement on the verification time from the community is reached.
  7. PUBLICATION & SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS TO THE GOVERNMENT. The results of the verification of registration documents are published on the iccas.or.id website and submitted to the Government; Director General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE), Director General of Social Forestry and Environmental Partnerships (PSKL) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and ministries/institutions authorized to manage conservation areas.
  8. INTERNATIONAL REGISTRATION. Furthermore, the AKKM document is prepared for the international registration process at the ICCA Registry http://www.iccaregistry.org.

AKKM registration can also be done online:

1. ​User Account Creation

  • The applicant accesses the Website page www.iccas.or.id
  • To be able to register online, a User Account is required by registering at the following link: www.iccas.or.id/user/register.
  • The applicant fills out and completes the user account profile form for activation requirements.

2. Account activation

  • The system will automatically notify the user account activation via email.
  • If the user account activation request is not accepted, the applicant cannot continue the online registration process. Applicants can contact the WGII ​​secretariat telephone.
  • If the user account activation request is accepted, the applicant will get a login account (user name and password) to be able to complete the registration form process.

3. Filling in the online registration form

  • The user logs in using the login account to fill in the registration form and other forms that are already available.
  • Instructions for filling out the form are already available in the system. Applicants must read and understand the instructions for filling out properly to avoid errors.

4. Notification of Acceptance of Online Registration

  • The system will automatically notify the status of the registration form via email.
  • If the registration form is rejected (incomplete or an error occurs), then the system will automatically send a notification to the applicant (user account) regarding the correction of filling in the registration form and any errors in filling it out. The applicant (user account) cannot continue the next process, before repairs are made.
  • If the registration form is accepted, the system will display the status of the registered community conservation area and enter the document verification stage (Stage 4) above.
